Since 2003 Nike has supported a collection of youth-to-professional racers titled the Bowerman Track Club. Named after Nike’s co-founder and University of Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, the elite roster of runners is now set to receive their very own branded Nike Zoom Pegasus 40 in celebration of their 20th anniversary.

Inspired by the red and white palette synonymous with the Track Club, the fortieth iteration of the Nike Zoom Pegasus undergoes a simplistic two-toned ensemble. Dipping the entirety of its knit upper and Zoom Air sole unit in a crisp colorless white, the model’s lone “University Red” accent encases a dominant majority of the latter embellishments, coating the laces, tongue tab, sock liner, Pegasus 40 branding and eyelets before attributing the trim of the exterior Swoosh while its medial side is filled entirely. Illuminating the heel’s Bowerman badge denoting the “workhorse with wings” association with the club, a clad wave of crimson provides a contrasted finish to the tread underfoot.

While we await the pair’s official debut this summer, enjoy an up-close look at the Nike Zoom Pegasus 40 “Bowerman Track Club” below in the meantime.
