Released in extremely limited quantities, the shoe left many sneaker collectors thirsty for more. In 2017 many were delighted when this Mars Yard 2.0 hit the market, but it was still no easy task acquiring a pair, and the value has done nothing but skyrocket since their release. The Tom Sachs x Nike Mars Yard 2.0 features a very similar design to the original 2012 release, with just a few tweaks to the materials, colors, and details. The upper of the shoe expresses a two-tone “Mystic Navy” denim and suede upper decorated with Sashiko detailing. The contrasting “little stabs” create midfoot Swooshes and circular patterns along the toe and heel. Additional branding comes in the form of Nike SB tongue tags, “NIKE” embroidery at the rear and printed insoles. Rounding up design of the shoes is a Zoom Air cushioning-assisted pure white midsole paired with a contrasting gum rubber outsole. The Yeezy 700 V3 was introduced in 2020 as the evolution of the original Yeezy Boost 700 model. Redesigned style elements include the removal of Boost cushioning in the midsole in favor of lightweight EVA foam and an added RPU cage for support. This “Azareth” colorway utlilzes a flashy blue Primeknit woven upper with contrasting sections of white and dark green fabric to allow for the striking contrast to garner attention. The aforementioned translucent glow-in-the-dark overlay cage across the upper provides a lockdown fit. The chunky yet streamlined white sole completes the look of this futuristic shoe. One look at the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 and you’ll notice the backwards Swoosh across the upper, a first for the legendary silhouette. Travis Scott’s Air Jordan 1 also features a premium construction in Sail leather and Dark Mocha nubuck with black accents. The Jordan 1 is further modified with a padded nylon collar that has a hidden stash pocket.
